Study Shows Treatment Combo Beneficial for Patients With CLL

Wierda, MD, PhD, professor, Department of Leukemia, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, discusses the results of the Phase II CAPTIVATE study, and highlights how the use of Ibrutinib plus Venetoclax confers high rates of peripheral blood and bone marrow undetectable minimal residual disease in patients with CLL, and a 90% reduction in high-risk tumor lysis syndrome monitoring.
